Origami is an Italian project comprising of members from the Clubbity.com team, Chemikangelo, Matejo and Jazzimo. Their first track, First Note, was selected by Michael Reinboth, Compost Records' boss, and has been included in the compilation Future Sounds of Jazz 10 on Compost Records at the end of March 2005. The track has also gained the 3rd position in Reinboth's Compost official chart, where no signs of the other tracks from the compilation can be remarked, giving proof of Compost boss' preference for it. Big appreciation was also shown by several other big names like Nicola Conte and Kevin Beadle, to name a few, who have played the tracks out and about.
The team have already completed tracks for labels like Paul Murphy's Afroart and Big Sur / Schema Records on which an EP and album will come out. Remixing work is being carried out for Head To Toe and other undisclosable projects.
