David Shing was born and raised in a small town in New South Wales, Australia. Thanks to an extraordinarily diverse upbringing (David's one of 10 kids), David grew up immersed in numerous styles of music.
David has developed an rich folk-rock style which draws upon addictive melody, pure emotion and stripped-down story-telling. A natural performer, David's originality, humor and sensitivity make him a truly beguiling stage presence.
