About Me
Biography
A few years back, Todor (guitars), Martin (guitars) and Ivan (bass), having known each other for ages, got together and decided to form a band, calling it Celestial Fury. The three of them started playing, doing some live shows in their hometown of Pleven and all in all just trying to get the band off the ground. Something was missing though, given they already had a drummer and tried out a few vocalists, no one seemed right for the job, forcing Martin to become the band’s drummer and singer.
A little while later, Celestial Fury welcomed another new member – Ivan, who played second guitar, now that Martin was on drums. Everything seemed well enough, Ivan even proposed to invite Dennis, the vocalist from their old band Frail Limb, to come and sing. After some consideration, Dennis was in and Celestial Fury had a gig with Voice Of Glass in Pleven. Then Ivan, the new guitarist, suddenly decided to leave, stating a few obscure reasons. This came as somewhat of a shock for the others, since the show with Voice Of Glass was just a few days away, but everyone pulled their act together and in the end, despite all, the concert was a big success. Everyone felt that a great big void was filled with Dennis joining Celestial Fury.
In the coming months, the band started working on some new songs, rehearsing as often as possible. Dennis, not entirely satisfied with the band’s current name, proposed to change it to MIGHT GO PSYCHO, stating it would be much more suitable for the guys’ style. Everyone agreed, the name was changed, even though later altered to PSYCHO MIGHT GO.
In the meantime, Dennis and Daniel, who was drumming for Frail Limb a while back, were trying to start a new band outside of PSYCHO MIGHT GO. After several months of failed attempts to get this new project under way, Dennis proposed a radical solution. Daniel would come and play drums in PSYCHO MIGHT GO and Martin would finally get back to playing guitar alongside Todor. Once again, everyone was thrilled, seeing the endless possibilities that would inevitably follow this change.
With all the pieces now in place, PSYCHO MIGHT GO continued to write new and exciting material, playing live shows in Pleven and Sofia as often as possible. On the 27th of March ‘08, the band won the Battle Of The Bands contest held in Sofia and as a result had the opportunity to record its first official single called Twisted.
