About Me

I started to play electric guitar at the age of 16.

I then played in my first band with some schoolmates, but was not happy with that and stopped playing in a band.

A few years later, i tried to learn bass guitar and then started a new project called "Shinjin Sama Supa Band" composed of some of my friends. We were playing some of my compositions but also some japanese songs (Naruto opening, Saint Seiya opening, Tonight (luna sea), Japan (Sex machineguns).

Our aim was to play loud but to never be serious ! It was fun, but stopped in summer 2006.
Then, XXL called me to try to play with them because they were needing a bassist. I tried and it was ok for them !
So, now, I play in XXL, the second album should be coming out soon (that's what I hope !)

Influences: Influences ?

I like a lot of music, but what is the best for me is Heavy Metal.

So, the first band who took me into heavy metal was Iron Maiden. Their music is so powerfull, so incredible. My favourite Maiden album is Somewhere in Time. Every song in the album makes me fly !

I am really influenced by japanese metal too. Sex Machineguns for me is one of the best Heavy Metal band in the world. Their songs are amazing and the music skills are really high !

Sex Machineguns bassist used to be Noisy. You don't know Noisy ?

So, Noisy is the crazy blond little guy playing withe the yellow bass ? Yes the one with the wonderfull voice !!

So this guy is my main influence. He know plays in a band called Dustar-3 who seems to have exactly the main aim that we had in SSSB : Play loud, do what we like, but never mind about the rest.

If you don't know Dustar-3, try to hear to Toilet Paper, Power or Lonely. I personnaly own a lot of Dustar-3 stuff, and everything is really awesome !
