At the age of 16, Elision was recognized as one of the greatest young singers in the state of Michigan. Music has been running through his veins from a very young age. His family recognized his dancing potential when he imitated MC Hammers running man and many of Michael Jackson's signature moves. He once told his mother that he saw colors when he heard music. She marveled at this comment, but was touched when she realized his musical capabilities. Elisions musical gifts were furthered discovered when he pick out all the instrument parts in a song.
Elision has faced many challenges throughout his journey. Trouble had always seem to knock at his door. Drugs, sex, and money was some of the barriers that he had to break down. However, he stayed in school where his vocal talents were recognized by his high school choir teacher. He had the desire to take his vocal gifts to greater heights, so he enrolled in a summer opera camp at the Detroit Opera House. There he was discovered and had the opportunity to audition for the world renowned Interlochen Arts Academy. He was accepted and enrolled his final year in high school. It was a struggle coming from a local high school in Detroit to a prestigious academy.
Upon graduating Elision was blessed with the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Michigan. There he began taking courses in the Performing Arts Technology department. This opportunity allowed him to develop production and audio engineering skills. With the enormous amount of resources and opportunities, Elision still faced many personal issues including drugs and relationships. However in his junior year he found God and began reading the Bible. This changed his outlook and direction in life. He choose to pursue a Masters Degree at the University of Wisconsin in Music.
The feeling of being out of place, no friends to talk to, and pressurized from all sides was upon Elision once he moved to Madison,WI. However, it was a the place where he began to understand the voice and how it works. He taught voice lessons to aspiring voice majors, in addition to traveling the world singing with various opera companies. Although he has seen success with his vocal talents, one important aspect of his dream hadn't been fulfilled. It has been the dream since his childhood. Elision has always wanted to sell records.
Elision was then lead to move to Atlanta to lean more about the music industry. It is the place where he now resides and currently working to blend all of his musical capabilities and talents together to make an impression on the music industry.[LOVEMYFLASH]
