Megiddo

Valdivia South of Chile, land of thousand-year-old forests, eternal rains and numerous rivers that converge between them. It is the environment that wraps to this band that adopts the name of the lands where the differences were synonymous of battles and victories obtained in a constant struggle between ancient empires of individual nature, is as well as the real crushing of the ideas according to the human reality is manifested by the majesty that represents the evil's victory in the so called “final war”, The Armageddon... Under this conception in the middle of November of ' 1998 was formed MEGIDDO that executes a blasphemer and enslaver Black Metal. Their debut was with a great reception of the crowd in December of the same year.
After having played in somes regions of the south, the band is acquiring prestige, all that tied to certain changes of line up (bass & drums), joining in September of 1999 " Dark Winter Shadows " (bass) and later "Barbarious" (drums) adding somes gigs in Santiago and the South of Chile for then in September, 2000 to release their first (independent) production " ADVANCE 2000 " , that consists of 3 dark anthems that being of great acceptance in the national and international scenes. Then in October " Nocturnal Givil Warrior " (guitar) left the band and later in February, 2001 "Barbarious" (drums), and the current line up were:
"Agalarieth" (Voice of Darkness), "Centurio" (String Blasphemy), "Majestic Evil Mass" (Death Fog), "Dark Winter Shadows" (Under Simphony).
In August, 2002 is decided the exit of " Dark Winter Shadows " (bass), and this way produce the release of "Agony Pleasure" (demo ' 2002), Later was the return of " Nocturnal Givil Warrior " (guitar), and the incorporation of " Black Desecrator Of Virgin And Sluts " (drums) and " Lord Nocturne Griffart " (bass). The line up was:
"Agalarieth" (Voice of Darkness), "Centurio" (String Blasphemy), "Majestic Evil Mass" (Death Fog), "Nocturnal Givil Warrior" (Bleeding String), "Black Desecrator Of Virgin And Sluts" (Drums of War), "Lord Nocturne Griffart" (Pulse of War).
With this line-up Meggido released the first CD “Subterranean Empire (With us Omniscient Monarca)” ascending from the voids during October 2003 with good receptions. During 2004 “Majestic Evil Mass” (Death Fog) and “Black Desecrator of Virgin and sluts” (drums of war) left the band, and the line up was formed by:
"Agalarieth" (Voice of Darkness), "Centurio" (String Blasphemy), "Nocturnal Givil Warrior" (Bleeding String), "Lord Nocturne Griffart" (Pulse of War).
In the period of 2004 Druaghonyk's (drums) incorporation takes place in the band, and after somes destructives live presentations Megiddo started to work at the studio to record an Ep called " Immortal Rites of War" 2004 that contains three cuts of pure and blasphemer black metal devotion.
After a recess in the band the recording of the Ep has begun 2007. "mmortal Rites of Death " beside realizing changes of interpretation in the instruments, staying the current line up:
"Agalarieth" (Voice of Darkness), "Centurio" (String Blasphemy), "Nocturnal Givil Warrior" (Bleeding String), "Lord Nocturne Griffart" (Pulse of War). "Andrés" (Drums).
Also for this year the band is planning the recording of the second LP.
"It is by that cause... the cause of the angel of the dark that we have walked through a long labyrinth of darkness, passing through the path of hate and cruelty and no longer has our thirst for occultism still remained. The secret circle that satisfies the exaggerated pleasures and calms the instincts destroys the equilibrium of imagination... wisdom is left as satisfaction".
