BASS PLAYER, MUSIC DESIGNER

When Iam playing I alway think of myself as being part of the team and searching for the "perfect bass line" that links the song melody with the bass drum. I feel really happy when I compose a bass line that you can sing and becomes an important part of the song. Most of the time I play a Fender Jazz Bass 72 a Condor BBA 4 and a Benvenuti acoustic bass.

When Iam producing I think of music as sound landscapes with things happening in many different layers. I like to mix brazilian percussion and rythms with weird electronic sounds, ambient sinths and, of course, groovy bass lines. I Like to produce with Logic Audio and Reason softwares.

I started playing in the 80s and have worked with many musicians in many different styles performing and producing CDs, soundtracks, jingles and spots for TV, radio and video.

I am currently working on music for the Red Carpet Reporter TV show (FJ Productions, USA) on my studio, Estudio Loop (http://estudioloop.com.br)
