The name is 'Erik' but, nicknames acquired through the years include: "Dr. Qi" "Guillotine Gangster" "Bald Eagle" "E." "Little-E." "Big-E." "Uncle Irk" "Uncle E-yak." "Mini Rock." "The Mobil guy" "Cricket" "The Cat" "9-ball." I am an American born and raised, Dutch-Indonesian (also mixed with German, French, and Chinese) who is commonly mistaken for latino, filipino, pacific islander, middle eastern, or some other immigrant, or alien being from another planet. I suppose my looks well fit the epitome of the phrase "Never judge a book by it's cover!" and I take great pleasure in making ignorant and prejudice folk, look stupid who would dare judge me based on my looks or skin tone. I am a man who loves my family, my girlfriend, my nephews, my friends, and of course... my car!!! I dig art, martial arts, video games, music, weird pets, comics, movies, japanime, cartoons, cool cars, karaoke, and toys!!! Hmmm...let's see, what can I say about me.. I suppose i'm just another geek/dork and the occasional "smart ass" (or maybe that's "pain in the ass") if you leave me the opportunity for it. I'm generally rather shy and reserved when it comes to being out in public but, I'd like to think I'm a pretty decent and likeable guy, then again though, I guess I can be hard to really get to know because I'm usually not one with the gift of gab. I can seem a bit strange or aloof at times, or maybe caught up in my own little world and, I suppose that might come across the wrong way too, but really, I have no intention of being rude, unfriendly, or unkind to anybody. Sometimes, I just get caught up thinking or daydreaming too much about things or, it just might be that I'm overwhelmed by your gracious presence or divine beauty, and that just happened to leave me speechless and paralyzed. Yeah, call me weird, call me wonderful, call me an idiot or call me genious..whatever suits your fancy. Now, I can sit here and boast about or mock myself about who or what I am all day, but you know, I'd rather let the friends and people who I share my time with, and know me best, or see me day by day, vouch for my personality and character. Now, if it tends to be that, you don't care or don't like anything I've got to say or write here....well then, quit with your curiousity and be off with ya'!!
