Since its inception in 1978 as the Atlanta Songwriters Association, the Georgia Music Industry Association, Inc. (GMIA) is Dedicated to the Art & Craft of Songwriting.
GMIA consists of a body of creative minds, including songwriters from all genres of music, professional and amateur, who are committed to protecting the rights and future of songwriting, and to act as a unifying force within the music community and the community at large.
Songwriters and Composers, along with Musicians, Performers, Vocalists, Booking Agents, Managers, Publishing Companies, Recording Studios, Labels, Performing Rights Societies, Live Music Venues, and others in the Music Industry, are encouraged to be an Active Part of the Georgia Music Industry Association.
Whether your genre is Pop, Country, Jazz, Classical, Gospel, Rap / Hip Hop, R&B, Rock, among others, we welcome you to GMIA!
