Hi, My name is Hasan Ismeal Green. I'm from Lafayette, Al.. I'm currently attending Jacksonville State University as a freshman, majoring in Music Education. In High School I was in the Lafayette High Marching Bulldogs band where I played the trumpet, Melaphone, and later became drum major. I've been singing all my life.. I was raised in the church singing Gospel Music and I am still doing so today. I'd like to call myself, the John Legend of Gospel Music. I've been graced to meet and perform with many great artists such as: The Mighty Clouds of Joy, THe Lumzy Sisters, John P. Kee, John Legend, Avant, Canton Jones, 3lw,. All my life I've sung in talent shows all across the states of Alabama and Georgia. In Sept. 2000 I won first place in the Mcdonald's presents It's Showtime at the Apollo Kid's Talent search. I appeared on the Apollo Twice in the month of January of 2001. PRAISE GOD!!!! Right now I am still singing and giving God the Praise. I know that it's nothing that I've done but my success is all because of him. I sing at Weddings, funerals, family reunions, and all other church functions.. My life is dedicated to music. I love to sing, It's my passion.. My GREATEST INSPIRATION IS MY GREAT GRANDMA, MAUDIE SUE GREEN AND MY GREAT AUNT EMMA SUE GREEN.. They were really powerful singers and I'll never forget them. I'm the minister of music at two local churches in my community.. God has really blessed me. I was also picked as one of the five finalist online contestants of BET'S SUNDAY'S BEST.. I didn't make it on the show. but god still showed favor.
