"OG" Jacki Blu

Born 1951 Jack Anderson Jr. in Tucson AZ. With music roots from east Texas, has been playing the guitar, piano, writing songs and performing since the age of 10. Early influences were Chuck Berry, Elvis, and James Brown. Later influences Curtis Mayfield, Temptations, Earth Wind and Fire. Given the street name Jacki Blu referring to a song We People Who Are Darker Than Blue by Curtis Mayfield in the ..70s. Known as The Cosmic Man with The Cosmic Touch, the original “Dusty Funkateer’ with the new Desert Soul sound called “Dusty Funk”
