Life Linesâ„¢ (New Tracks)

About Me

Life Lines™ born in 1989 (Previously known as Lowey I.M.S. also known as Sense), is a dedicated & committed Hip Hop/Rap Artist & producer based in Hammersmith (West London). Life Lines™ started out producing beats in his secondary schools art department (The London Oratory), which contained two Apple Macs at the back of the department’s main art room. Life Lines™ created his name recently, when he realized that the name that he was previously known by (Lowey I.M.S.), had to be dropped permanently, based on the fact (which was not known to others at the time) that he created the name after falling in love with a young woman called Irene, who within time he admits he gradually lost touch with and all feelings for, and therefore, could not go on using the name Lowey I.M.S. (Irene Makes Sense) knowing that the status between him & Irene was no longer the way it were when he first met her. In that regard he reluctantly changed his name to Life Lines™ which has a meaning. Life Lines™ himself likes to explain his name like this
''The name Life Lines™ means that I am my own life line, meaning that I’m in control of any situation that I have been in, I am currently in or about to proceed into. The name Life Lines™ also means that I’m a conscious artist, meaning that my Lines (lyrics, rhymes or bars) are based on life….my life’’
Initially, Life Lines™ was using the Garage Band music program to produce his beats. Most of the tracks that he produced at the time were sample based productions, and therefore in regards to promoting and advertising these tracks, things became harder for Life Lines™ because; when your music is sample based, there is certain level that one can not go beyond, based on the fact that certain features of the track you’re trying to push forward, actually belong to someone else.
Realizing this, Life Lines™ then turned to other sample free producers that could help him to change his sound slightly and bypass the legal side of things. E.g. sample clearance and the like, without straying out too far from the initial genre that he wanted to stick to. The two producers that then helped Life Lines™ to accomplish this successfully are: Culture & Jude Productions. After working with the two local legends, Life Lines™ was then able to release sample free produced tracks such as: ‘I Don’t Need You’ (Produced By Jude Productions, Featuring Amber Dante) & The ‘Soul Vibe’ Preview (Produced By Culture, who was known as G at the time).
After Life Linesâ„¢ had reached a stage in his music where he felt and knew that he had the links to finally bypass the legal side of his music (sample based production), he then turned to producers that did just that! The producers that he chose to turn to at that time are as follows:

  • Raul Supreme -

  • Kelakovski -

  • Knonaim -
  • http://www.Myspace.com/Knonaim
  • Incisive -
  • http://www.Myspace.com/Incisive1
Life Linesâ„¢ is still working with all five producers closely on various projects.
When Life Linesâ„¢ had established the four main producers (listed above) that he wanted to work with from that moment, he then began to take his rapping seriously. Being a conscious Hip Hop/Rap Artist from day one, Life Linesâ„¢ had no problem with describing the criminality that surrounded him. E.g. Knife crime, armed robbery, Shot gun Drive bys & Shootouts. Other than these issues, Life Linesâ„¢ has much more to say about life within his rap verses. He tries very hard to present his supporters & listeners with music that most of them can relate to, irrespective of whichever walk of life that these people may be coming from.
