About Me


LEROY is an original and dynamic 8 piece party band hailing from Sydney, Australia. LEROY's combination of uplifting, highly infectious original tunes; quality musicianship and energetic live performances sure make this band something worth seeing!
Since forming in 2007, LEROY has featured in the MUSICOZ Awards (see our blog for critic reviews) , performed at great Sydney venues incl. THE METRO, SLIDE, THE SUPPER CLUB, BEACH RD. HOTEL BONDI, MAC HOTEL (Home of Sydney Funk), FACTORY THEATRE, and THE BASEMENT, amongst others. In addition to this, LEROY have performed several showcase gigs around Australia incl. Brisbane, the Canberra FRINGE FESTIVAL, Sydney Food and Wine Fair, Mardi Gras Festivities, Tv and Radio appearances...
LEROY is planning to record their brand new songs which are gonna rock!!!! Their first ever EP was released last year. It's available ONLINE NOW so please click link above if you want your very own CD copy or digital download!!

"With 3 of the bands doing fairly poorly in ticket sales it was essentially up to one band to make a night of it… and that they did. An 8 piece funk band by the name of LEROY single handedly rocked the hell out of the Factory Theater. Bringing in around 250 punters, Leroy played first and after doing their 25 minutes (and getting votes from almost every single person in the room, staff and crew included!) agreed to stay on stage and play another half an hour to fill the gap left by the bands who could not make it. These guys are playing to win and with great songs, excellent musicians and a very exciting and entrancing stage show, they are very serious contenders."
