Treasure every moment you hear music, let the laughter fill you up inside.....

About Me

Always thought that middle age started when you turned forty but now that I have passed that particular milestone I realise that middle age of course does not start till the age of 60! Phew, I've a while to go, then...Chronic insomniac, so I'm often to be found posting my blogs at 3 in the morning. That's probably why they often make no sense at all....Photographer's wife for the past 18 years, mother of two beautiful, gorgeous, annoying, challenging and wonderful girls of 11 & 9, and owner/manager of Richard Kerber Photography in North London.Started to have a mid-life crisis a couple of years ago(tell you about it someday) but then went to see the Ian McNabb/Icicle Works gig in London on Dec 13 2007 and had a moment of revelation. The old energy, passion and sheer enjoyment of life is ALL STILL THERE! We just have to find what brings it back, and then keep doing it! (That's the hard part).I'm still crazy about music, images, words and ideas. My head is still full of dreams and my heart full of laughter and I don't ever want to lose that. I'm an old romantic but still young enough to laugh at myself! Grateful thanks to "Boots" for that little bit of magic.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Lots of people I'd like to meet but I would probably get completely starstruck and tongue-tied. Everything would go out of my head, I'd mumble incoherently and they'd think I was a complete numbskull. I met my musical hero Ian McNabb and the best I could manage (after I'd been thoroughly hugged and kissed by him, mind) was "Ian, would you mind signing my CD please" and "It was great tonight". Hardly memorable stuff. In future I'll just have to write all my questions down beforehand and show them my notebook!Look below in interests for other musicians I'd like to meet.
