Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, Shotpointblank formed in late 1999 and recently ended our career with a run of shows across June/July 2007. We played a hard, fast and aggressive brand of hardcore fusing elements of metal and traditional hardcore with hints of melody, crunching dance parts and breakdowns. Lyrically we were not afraid to speak our mind and we retained the heartfelt honesty that the hardcore scene has built itself up on, finding a common ground between the individual beliefs of our various members which range from straightedge to veganism, and used it to confront issues that face us all as individuals and as society as a whole. We were a hardcore band, for hardcore kids.....nothing more, nothing less.Heres our final song in Adelaide ever!

Our friends in The Red Shore need your help more than you can imagine. Please dig deep and help out with whatever you can. Last week we lost two friends in a tragic accident up on the Pacific Highway near Coffs Harbour while they were on tour with All Shall Perish.
