Funktion of Soul

Noah "the beat monster" Barer, Austin "the fretboard destroyer" Tecks, and Alex "the slow but astute" K-S have been developing their skills for years. With funky fresh beats,riffs and bass lines, this tremendous trio have been cooking up a storm for what was to become Funktion of Soul. With practice and determination, these 3 boys have become men in the music world, and produce incredible music for all to hear.
From the slums of Mo-west came the secret touch that was the missing ingredient for the crew being created. This saxman drops notes that are outta control. Better watch out cause Emile GT is gunna make you groovy-moovy like never before.
For the last piece of the puzzle, the funktion brothers had to search long and hard to find him in the mishmash of aspiring emcees. To add a little hip hop spice and to provide tongue twisting rhymes with dope flavour, the crew recruited the short and sweet Jonathan "the torpedo" Feist to be the finishing touch of F(soul).
We practice every day except tuesday. Sunday is band day, where we spend an entire morning cooking each other extravagant breakfasts.
