R.E.D.D. Raps Evolutionary Dominant Destroyer say born as Reginald Young, born and raised on Chicago’s south side. He discovered a passion for rapping at the age of 5. He was introduced to rap by his father who used to play artists such as Easy E, NWA, and MC BREED. R.E.D.D was never influenced to rap, but merely discovered a hidden talent within him self as he would listen to songs and then find himself transforming them into his own words. He then discovered He had a TRUE and unique talent for rhyming. After he discovered he could put his rhymes together, he then started to write his own songs. He realized that from being a natural at creative writing, he could develop stories which helped in his songwriting and allowed his music to have depth and creativity. R.E.D.D then discovered he had quite a knack for freestyling and being able to create verses and Songs without having to write which got him into battling. R.E.D.D’s precocious personality combined with his cocky persona gave him the means to entertain in his music. His flashiness and conception or standing out gave him an identity that listeners could cling to thus making him an artist you wanted to hear. He was able to connect with his audience and use their energy to make music that would be appealing to them and still maintain the integrity of his lyrical content.
