Band Members: MOKUPUNI VIBES was broadcast live every Tuesday 3 to 6 PM Hawaii time on KTUH FM Honolulu for 2 years until Tuesday 2/17/09. Now the saga continues online here through this site, where special songs heard exclusively on Mokupuni Vibes and nowhere else are now available for download (see the Nimbit music store box on the right)

MOKUPUNI VIBES was a radio show dealing with culture and music in the Caribbean and Pacific, especially Jamaica and Hawaii, where music has catalyzed links across cultures. Hosted by Caju (a.k.a. "Supachicken") and Normajean "the Kingston Sista", along with Martin Momona. MOKU or MOKUPUNI means ISLAND in Hawaiian ("moku" is any individual isolated land mass, even a small reef islet, while "mokupuni" is the whole island all around, including the smaller reef islands around it).
