Brass City Tattoo was established in August, 2002 when Darren Brass and F. Sean Martin decided to open a tattoo shop in their hometown of Waterbury, CT.
Darren had spent the better part of the last decade up until that point tattooing in several shops around the East Coast, traveling back and forth between NYC, Miami, Boston, Connecticut, etc... Growing tired of the lifestyle he had been living, Darren came home to recharge for a few months, and catch up on some of his home state clientele.
F. Sean had been on tour with Hatebreed for quite some time at this point as well, and had also spent the better part of the last decade following Darren from shop to shop, and State to State, helping him out in any way he could, and getting Tattooed by Darren in return.
Upon returning home from tour in 2001, F. Sean decided it was the time to establish a Tattoo shop in the city they grew up in. Darren was down, the spot got got...And three great years of business was had!
In 2005 Darren signed on to be involved with the T.V. show "Miami Ink". After taking time to to reformulate a game plan and find some new people to work at the shop, F. Sean Re-Opened for business on Jan. 1st, 2007
