My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I decided to put this show together because of my own personal experience with suicide. I was saved because the way I decided to try to end my life, my body couldn't handle. At the time I tried this, I felt alone, hopeless, scared of the past and the future, and so many other things were going through my mind, that at that very moment, I decided to try and take my own life. I am very happy and thankful that I was saved, I went through a lot in the hospital, I messed up my liver, and had to stay in the psychiatric unit which was an unpleasant experience. I realized all the heartache, pain and anger that I caused for my family and friends that I love and care about. Some people were blaming themselves, some were angry at me, others stood by my side and spoke to me when I needed them, and I even lost a friend who couldn't understand it. The sad truth is not many are lucky enough to be saved, sometimes no matter how hard you try to prevent a suicide it can still occur. I am also doing this to remember those who have committed suicide including celebrities and everyday people. I want to try to raise awareness on how suicide really is and some of the steps that you can do to try to prevent it. I am taking steps right now and so are those who care about me and again, sometimes it can't be prevented, however, I would like to think there is hope and it can be with a little more awareness. Suicide is not something that should be ignored, it is a serious matter.

Jeff Buckley
Elliot Smith
George Javori
Kurt Cobain
