Myspace Heart GeneratorsAvenged Sevenfold Bio ( English)Avenged Sevenfold, also known as A7X, is a metal/hard rock band from Huntington Beach, California.The band was formed in 1999. Avenged Sevenfold's first album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, was recorded when the band members were eighteen years old. It was originally released on their first label, Goodlife Recordings. After lead guitarist Synyster Gates joined the band, the introductory track "To End The Rapture" was re-recorded with Gates playing, and the album was re-released on Hopeless Records. Their follow-up album, entitled Waking the Fallen, was also released on Hopeless Records and was awarded a positive rating in Rolling Stone magazine. Shortly after its release, Avenged Sevenfold were signed to Warner Bros. Records. City of Evil, the third album which was released on June 7, 2005, strayed from metalcore, and instead headed a little more towards heavy metal and added a harder rock sound with influences ranging from various bands. During the recording of City of Evil, M. Shadows' vocal styling changed to focus more on melodic singing rather than hardcore screaming. Some cite the change in vocal style as consequence of vocal chord damage (that resulted in subsequent surgery) during a tour supporting Waking the Fallen. All the rumors on why Matt suddenly stoped screaming were answered on All Excess. M.Shadows quit screaming. He knew that he wanted to make a full screaming album (Sounding the Seventh Trumpets) half screaming/half singing (Waking the Fallen) and all singing (City of Evil). La banda la integran M. Shadows (Matt Sanders) en voz, Zacky Vengeance (Zack Backer) en guitarra, Synyster Gates (Bryan Haner) en guitarra, The Reverend (James Sullivan) en bateria y Johnny Christ (Jonathan Seward/Gera) en bajo. En el 2001 graban el demo "Warmness On The Soul" que deriva en el primer disco del grupo titulado "Sounding The Seventh Trumpet" y editado originalmente por Good Life en julio del 2001 y luego por Hopeless Records el 19 de marzo del 2002. Con un promedio et�reo de 18 a�os, los cinco integrantes de la banda cautivan en poco tiempo a un importante n�mero de seguidores y con ello consiguen grabar un segundo disco para Hopeless Records. "Walking The Fallen" se edita el 26 de agosto del 2003 y una vez mas muestra la fuerte influencia dejada en ellos por grupos tales como Pantera, Metallica, Misfits, Guns'n'Roses y Iron Maiden. Un hecho casi ins�lito cambia en alguna medida el rumbo de agresividad extrema del conjunto cuando debido a una hemorragia interna, el cantante M. Shadows es sometido a una cirug�a de garganta, debiendo ajustar su estilo vocal a su nueva realidad. Luego de firmar para Warner Bros graban "City Of Evil", disco que incluye "Bat Country" (video) y "Seize The Day" (video) y que los consagra en la escena internacional. En el 2007 "Almost Easy" anticipa un �lbum hom�nimo. Cabe hacer notar que pese a las connotaciones religiosas que pudiesen estar ligadas a su m�sica, Avenged Sevenfold no profesa religi�n alguna. Prueba de ello es que tres de sus miembros fueron expulsados de escuelas dedicadas a fomentar el catolicismo.
