I was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica. When I was a youngster, my father purchased a sound sytem, "The Mighty Kojak" and played music nightly at our family owned bar at Borderline near the Great River. Thus began my love affair with traditional reggae music. Today I consider myself a true reggae singer. Whenever I perform a Bob Marley showcase, even the biggest Marley fans stop and take notice. One of my best life's experiences has been performing for 2 years as the featured vocalist at Ricks Cafe in Negril for the sunset show as well as performing at Sandals Hotel Negril for 6 years.
