ASIATTIC aka HOLLY VERSACE THE BLACK ZSA ZSA

I wrote my first song when I was in the 7th grade to that old school song ROCK, SKATE, ROLL, BOUNCE. That was when QUEEN LATIFAH came out with her first album and I was listening to LOW PROFILE. I remember recording videos from YO MTV RAPS. HEAVY D was rocking his COCA COLA sweatshirts and biker shorts was the business. In 1993 I joined a group by the name of N.T.S., which consisted of three guys and myself. loved every minute of it that was the first time in my life that I felt free. We did various shows including cable access. DR. DRE wanted to sign us as one of the first artist on DEATH ROW RECORDS. We didn't sign mainly because we were more of a hip-hop group with a style that could be compared to DAS EFX. Later on down the line I pursued a solo career. In 1995 I did various promotions and some A&R for LOUD, PRIORITY, and AVATAR Records (BLUEPRINT PROMOTIONS). I've also learned many different aspects of the music business, like making beats and putting together other artist demos. I worked with an artist by the name ORBIT. I've done songs with KOKANE, BROOKLYN (signed with Aftermath Records), IMANI WALKER, and various other artist. I've performed at the KNITTING FACTORY with CAPPADONNA from WU TANG CLAN, battled GURU at an open mic, and was a fixture at UNITY, an underground hip hop spot in Downtown,LA. I'm a "ONE TAKE QUEEN", in the studio. I would say that my ear for music is my biggest strength. As I get older I tell myself that I would be great in doing something background in the music industry as an executive but it has always been a dream of mines to complete a whole album. Sometimes the desire lessens but it never go's away. These songs that I display, (unmixed and unmastered) on this page, shows what i'm capable of if given the right circumstance. I plan on completing an album because "I AM HIP HOP", reguardless of where I am at in life even if in the background.
