About Me

I am...one of those people who takes interest in a lot of different things right away and tries a lot of new things. Some stick, some don't. Not that I can't stick through it. Not that I have committment issues, which I do, I think I just get bored quickly. Probably all that tv. I have been a few different people over the course of my life. If you know me now or you knew me then you wouldn't recognize me at the opposite side of that place. Make sense? All I know is this. Anything that was ever any good came from the underground, and the people who do it themselves do it better than anyone else.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

Music. Music. Music. Knitting, Sewing, Biking, Photography, Collecting people's old mass produced art projects from token classes from the 50's, 60's & 70's.

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet people who like to make mixed tapes.

Create your own visitor map!

Music:

i've often thought it would be a lot more productive if I just deleted this list. I mean really. It is pretty much always really really ridiculously out of date. Wouldn't you rather know something more interesting like how many different places are represented in my postcard collection? Elliot Smith, Heatmiser, Antelope, Fugazi, !!!, George & Caplin, The Chase, Bright Channel, Radio Jetstream :), Tuesday Weld, Pandas & Wolves, HollAnd, Heavens to Betsy, Sissyface, Bratmobile, Jolie Holand, RJD2, Dolly Parton, Kraftwerk, Adam Ant, DJ Shadow, Multiple Kat, Hermann Und Kliene, Call & Response, Frank Black, Kim Deal, the Pixies, Radiohead, Hot Hot Heat, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Pinback, DJ Tant, Her Space Holiday, The Chase, Whorehouse of Representatives, Vice Squad & the Germs all from another plane of existence in my life. Devo, the Talking Heads, David Burn, Diplo, TV on the Radio, Fischerspooner, M.I.A., Brian Eno, David Bowie, NIN, Clinic, The Ravonetts, Sufjan Stevens, Manu Chao, Wolf Parade, CORNELIUS!, Kinski, Mike Relm, Nouvelle Vague, Shellac (Did I say that already?), Squarepusher, & Cat Power off the top of my head. I guess I could write out my record collection...if I were stuck on an island with only the above records I would do ok for a while, but I know there is something that I would pine away for that I have missed here.

Movies:

Royal Tenebaums (of course), Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Wes Anderson, Tim Burton and that's about that.

Television:

Yes please and lots of it until my brain is mushy mush

Books:

Right now Going to Pieces Without Falling Apart. Also Atonement, Democracy at Risk, & Eat to Live. The general favorite answer from most 20-somethings - Charles Bukowski. Stitch n' Bitch Nation, The Dreamer's Dictionary, Journey to the End of Night by Celine, The Monk by Matthew Lewis, various Russian Literature books & the Darkroom Handbook are all on my sidetable in various states of undress.

Heroes:

I'd like to thank my mom, Kathleen Hanna, and god.

I am in a bad mood.

Today, I woke up in an awesome mood. I got about 3.5 hours of sleep, and operated sans coffee until about 1 hour after I'd been up. Then I went to the dentist - still in a great mood. Then I came to w...

I just want to make sure everyone I know, knows how to spell the word weird.

It's w-e-i-r-d. "i" before "e" except after "c" and the exceptions...I'm not exactly sure what all the exceptions are, but this is one of them. weird.
