I'm just a small town girl looking to make an impact on the country music scene. Born and raised in Cherryville, North Carolina, a town of about 5,000 people, I grew up an only child who loved sports and music. I've always had a passion for music, especially since I first listened to a cassette tape of Patsy Cline when I was about 7 years old. I remember sitting there and listening to that tape and starting to sing along when I started reading the insert that told about her dying in a plane crash. I sat there and cried because I honestly loved her voice, and every since that day, she has been a huge influence on my love for music. I hope to be able to be remembered in the same sense that she was. If I can accomplish that, then I will have achieved my greatest goal in my music career.
