My name is Rose, short for "Nita's Wild Rose". That is what they used to call me at the racetrack. I raced for almost 5 years at 3 different tracks in a place known to humans as New England. I had a pretty long career...211 Races with 13 first place wins..but I'm glad its over. I am loving my retirement, a warm fluffy bed, wonderfully tasty things to eat, and a personal masseuse (aka my mom). I also have a younger adopted sister named Ginger. We get along greyt, I am so glad that she came to live with us. There are also 3 felines that live in our house. They are ok I suppose, they keep to themselves mostly.I love spending time relaxing on my bed, but I also do have a good time running with my greyhound friends at the park on Saturday mornings. I also love visitors, and my favorite is when my Aunt, Uncle & Cousins come to see me. They live next door so we get to see them alot. Ginger is fun too, but she can get a little bit too crazy sometimes. I play sometimes, but she wants to play ALL the time.
