After 35 years, I've finally found love! I am absolutely, completely enamored with my husband, Ricky, my four children--Cambrey, Ethan, Dery, and Hannah--and my cockapoos, Bilbo and Arwen. I work for an NEISD magnet program, iMAK, as their eighth grade English teacher. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southwest Missouri State with a degree in English Education. I also hold teaching certificates in PK-4 Education and 4-12 English Language Arts and Reading, Technology Applications, and Journalism with specific training in Pre-AP English and additional certifications in Gifted and Talented, Special Education, and English as a Second Language. Before beginning my teaching career, I spent twelve years as a youth leader, where I discovered that I thoroughly enjoy middle-schoolers.
