He's been playing for 10 years, and his credentials in Mexico include the biggest clubs, like La Boom, AM, Habita Hotel, Pink, Rioma and 2000+ person festivals like Summer of Love, The Morning Glory Festival and the Equinox, as well as clubs and parties in Cabo San Lucas (Nikki Beach, Passion, Red, Blue Room), Playa del Carmen (La Santanera, Jellyfish, Corona Beach Fest, Corvette Ninja) and many other cities in Mexico. In Toronto, Canada he played at “Electric Circus,” Much Music’s legendary electronica TV showcase, and also at TONIC club.••••••••In 2003, he moved to LA and played the FLAUNT Magazine Party and Spundae @ CIRCUS Hollywood. In early 2005, Chava won the nationwide “Do it yourself” DJ contest, sponsored by GIANT, Groovetickets.com and BPM Magazine. In a unanimous decision by all the judges, he took top honors above 200 submissions from all over the US. His prize rewarded him with the opening spot @ Danny Howells' Global Underground MIAMI:027 tour along with Nic Fanciulli. After that gig, Chava became a GIANT resident @ famous AVALON Hollywood and Montmartre Lounge, sharing decks with DJS like James Holden, Hybrid, Dave Audé & Hernán Cattaneo. Later on, he won the second place in the worldwide 2005 edition of the “Bijou Breaks DJ competition”.••••••••In 2005 he went and opened his own club in Playa del Carmen, where M.A.N.D.Y. (Yeah, Germans!!!) and some very interesting tech heads showed him the path to tech house and electro house. He was blown away. Chava then moved to Dallas, where he played along with mates Corey and Blake (Opencloud) under the OCD moniker. In August 2006, Chava was featured artist on proton radio and had a guest mix on MOUSA, Opencloud's top proton radio show. After a few months in Texas he went back to Mexico City, where he now spins regularly at AM club and some other premier clubs in the city. In november 2006, Chava opened for M.A.N.D.Y (slowmotionmusic, sky austin TX promoted by Lance Cashion & Toddy B) and february 2007 marks the beggining of ADULTS ONLY, his own show on proton radio and one of his goals for this year is to start producing.
