About Me

The mysterious Zerocrop is an independent recording artist based in London and has been releasing albums through his own website zerocrop.com since 2000. The music is an unusual and unsettling collage of beautiful sounds and disturbing themes, dealing with such issues as internet sex and drug addiction, narcissism and self-harm, war and violence, fear and loss, love and hate, life and death good and evil. In addition to his own releases, Zerocrop has remixed, written songs for and performed with the incomparable Billie Ray Martin and regularly composes music for award winning milliner Justin Smith .
The first Zerocrop single, Ain't No W*nker was released on January 1, 2000, a ground breaking mashup of smut and electronica mixing big beats, guitars and vocals with recordings from gay chatlines. Zerocrop returned to the music scene in 2004 with Fucked, an eight song narcotic adventure, mixing lyrics, melodies and chatline messages with fucked up beats, tortured vinyl and backwards guitars.
The new Zerocrop album Painkiller is a ten track masterpiece of music for psychopathic states of mind, including the anti war-crimes pop song Die Screaming, released as a single on January 1st. Zerocrop recordings are all available from the Zerocrop Shop by clicking here.
