THE WHISTLE PIGS PLAY 10-2 EVER TUESDAY NIGHT AT PK'S IN CARBONDALE, ILI live alone in a one room cabin on Pigeon Creek in southern Illinois. I built that cabin in 2004. It's solar powered and I heat it with wood. 990 watts of PV panels. The twelve golf cart batteries that I use to store the electricity have gone bad, so I'm using four used ones from a yard sale right now (update-I now have 8 12 volt sealed gel type batteries 3/27/08 (10/21/08 still working strong)). Lately I've been cooking outside on a fire to save propane.
I play banjo and am lead singer in the Whistle Pigs.
I dont mind travelin with a band. Besides my home state, southern Illinois, I've played in the great states of Kentucky, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and my favorite cities- New Orleans, LA and Memphis, TN. We play on the steets mostle in New Orleans and play at the Cove in Memphis at least once a month.
I think workin fer the man's fer the bees and have been a full time musician since the spring of '08. I love to hunt and fish. I grow a big garden every year. I love to eat rabbit.

I'm very laid back, but I dont mind fightin.
