"This is for you Dad" Positive thoughts float through my mind,
I try and think of happy times,
But the more I think, the more I cry,
Cause I never thought, it'd be your time you "fly",
You never gave me warning,
It caught me by suprise,
Cause this little girl had faith,
That her dad would never die,
I read a letter you wrote one day,
You sent it to mom, but I read it anyway,
You thanked her for the pic's she sent you of me,
The letter said I sure was growin' up beautifully,
You mentioned how I was looking more and more like you,
I got your eyes, you hair, even your smile too,
Your letter gave me tingles,
Made me smile inside,
It was like you were talking to me, even though your not alive,
I miss you Daddy, more than you'll ever know,
But I'm starting to cry now, so I guess I'll let you go.
