"The Nothingheads stargaze with wistful, quirky indie-pop spun from the wizard coats of the Flaming Lips and Built To Spill." --TimeOut Chicago
Born in 2002, doctors said The Nothingheads could not survive, and if they did, they may be a tad short. Those doctors were wrong. Not only do they stand at a combined height of over 17 feet, they also play music. Channeling their influences from indie to oldies, The Nothingheads cartwheel on the balance beam between pop and pandemonium. Marvel at the vocal chords of Michael Martello chirping away without shame as he abuses his poor guitar. Thrill at the inventive bass lines of David Luzeniecki as he bows, buzzes, and kazoos you into oblivion. Keeping you on your toes is the explosive drum work of Chris Sumrall. Think garage rock with a side of melody after scientific experiments have been conducted on it and you've got the right idea. Now, in 2008, The Nothingheads are kicking it up a notch. They have gravitated towards the great city of Chicago, play live regularly, and have started capturing their unique music on tape for the ages. If you want music that is original, fun, and catchy, then these are performances you won't want to miss. Feel free to proclaim your love for The Nothingheads. We may blush a little, but we promise to love you right back. For booking, send us a message on MySpace or e-mail us at
