Hey. The name's Emrys (Em-riss) Lowe. I'm 16 years old (3/4/93) and currently a junior at Merrimack High School. I stand at 6'1", have brown hair (usually styled into uneven spikes) and blue eyes. You'll usually see me wearing a short sleeved shirt (sometimes a tanktop now that the dermatitis on my arms is finally almost cleared) and jeans.
I've been singing pretty much all my life. Besides that, I've been playing guitar for close to 9 years, bass for 3 years, and drums for 4 years. I currently sing lead and play bass for an alternative/hard rock band called Apnea , and sing clean vocals and play guitar for a progressive hardcore/screamo band called Shadows of Fate.
I started this solo project in December of 2007 after being turned down by an incredibly beautiful girl at school; the event led me to write the song "I Just Can't See," which is, in my opinion and the opinions of many others, my best song to date. Since then, I've taken songs I had written for a band I was trying to get together but later disbanded; songs like "Come Back Down To Earth," "For All I've Done," and "State of Mind;" and altered them for this project. I also spent time additional songs, and in the summer of 2008 I recorded my first album, Changing Times.
After that I had a slump in ideas for new songs. I've written only three songs for this project since completing the recording of Changing Times. However, I'm recording these songs, and an acoustic version of "I Just Can't See," with my friend and Apnea bandmate Joe Dobrowolski producing, for a short EP, which I hope to call Blankout. No clue on when this will be completed though.
