About the Film: The Mirrors of Longreach Mansion is the second feature film from Writer/Director Michael Coonce and New York-based Emmemax Films . Their first feature, Lonely Joe is currently in post-production with a 2008 release planned.
The Mirrors of Longreach Mansion is currently in-development with production currently slated to begin in Fall 2008.
Synopsis: Michael Hartson, successful Wall Street broker, and his family take a break from their fast paced New York City lifestyle and move to his inherited Longreach Mansion in Gardener, Massachusetts.
Hundreds of mirrors adorn every wall, in every room of the house. No two mirrors are alike. Each mirror frame depicts the events of someone’s life and death.
The Hartson’s don’t know it, but these mirrors are unlike any they have ever seen. Inside these mirrors is the spirit of which the frame depicts. If the glass of the mirror were ever broken, the spirit would be freed. Most of the spirits trapped in the mirrors are lost souls that could never find their way, but some spirits were truly evil in life.
Father Nelson, learning that someone has moved into the Longreach Mansion offers to buy the mirrors. He tells the family he is interested in all the mirrors. His offer is declined.
Only when more events occur, does the family call the Priest back for help and answers.
