ORIGINS: SUBJECT 0520, CODE NAME "DEAD FLY"
We have accurately traced the origins of the entity known as 'The Dead Fly' to the middle of an Antarctic tundra. Born out of the cold, dark womb of the earth, he began to explore the world around him. He grew and adapted quickly, consuming everything around him, converting it to raw energy. Taking shelter in a mountainside cave, he sat in front of a campfire, expending the gathered energy sonically. This attracted the attention of local fauna, which inexplicably began sharing residence with The Dead Fly entity, becoming abnormally docile in his presence.
The Dead Fly then disappeared without a trace, for many years. We dedicated countless dollars and hours tracking him down, but we inevitably devised a method of apprehension.
Harnessing the power of time-space vortexes, we unceremoniously propelled him to the year 2004, when he was captured by military officials, and discreetly transported to an underground laboratory. There, our scientists attached him to machines that translated the sonic output from the entity directly into digital audio, which can be monitored, analyzed and reviewed from this location.
