Nola has the newest sound and a vocal rasp to die for! Nola is pure talent – she masters the stage with her vocals, her dance and her crazy, theatrical, yet down-to-earth personality! Her wide-ranging repertoire mesmerizes you…. Nola grew up in suburban Cincinnati listening to Whitney Houston, Pat Benatar, Mariah Carey and Earth, Wind & Fire. She displayed musical talent and interest at age 3. She sang and danced her way into the hearts of audiences throughout grade school in professional musicals. She played “Little Red” in the tapping rendition of Little Red Riding Hood for Children’s Theatre as well as the tenacious brat, Violet Beauregard in their Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She danced two seasons with The Cincinnati Ballet Company The Nutcracker. She did all this while performing in tap and jazz dance competitions throughout the United States. Nola wanted a high school with super-charged creative energy – less focus on sports and cheerleading - emphasis on music and dance. She transferred at age 13 to an inner city performing arts high school. Nola willingly gave up soccer and the summers at the pool with friends to pursue her true love of the arts. At age 16 she studied in New York City with the Alvin Ailey Dance School and that experience propelled her around the world. Nola’s vocal talent landed her in Japan singing lead for the hottest live rock and R&B bands in Tokyo. Because of her vocal versatility, she was offered the chance to sing backup vocals for the multi-platinum Murder Inc artist, Ashanti. They performed for the Battle of Hope Aids concert in Nigeria. Her incredible vocal range and ability to pick up Japanese awarded her the opportunity to sing back up for yet another multi-platinum Korean/Japanese pop artist BoA. She joined BoA for a tour throughout Asia. Back in the states, Nola sang background vocals for a national spot tour with Sony Urban artist, Lyfe Jennings. With full concentration on her own music, Nola is at the forefront of a new generation of pop/rock divas taking the music scene by storm. She is a sultry-fusion of pure talent and raw sex appeal; a sophisticated style with a hint of delicious decadence! Nola’s rich tonality and dance expertise make her a force impossible to ignore.
