"If manliness had a soundtrack, the score would be metal. No other genre of music is in jeopardy of dying out because fans get killed at concerts. Decades ago, angry menstruating moms and fanatical christian conservatives tried to get metal banned for being a bad influence on our youth. They claimed that metal caused harm to children and caused violent behavior in adolescents. Today we know for a fact that they were right."

Music is my passion and fuel. Ever since I was a small kid it has been the one thing that can make me happy, sad, furious and horny at the same time.
I play the guitar and cheat on about every instrument known to man. I grew up listening to my fathers old Frank Zappa records and grew very fond of blues and seventies rock as well as fusion and all other kinds of weird "musicianmusic".
In my teens I started focusing on my guitar for hours a day and started my musical education as well. I am not a big mainstream music fan and always liked the challenging types of music.
I spent my teens listening to heroes like Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Vai, Johnny Lang, Robben Ford, John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Greg Koch, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen and many many more.
Yes, I was and still am a big guitarnerd!
The years have faded my manic practicing and guitartone search in favour of other inspirations such as literature, Politics, Collecting guitars and ways of expanding the human intellect.
Now I am also a big country music fan (wich is also the only type of mainstream music I really like) and love everything from modern country like Brad Paisley and Keith Urban, older heroes lik Merle Haggard and of course Mr. Cash all the way to outlaw redneck country like Hank Williams III and some folk and bluegrass.
But I still love grabbing a beer and just shred for hours!
Anyways, I play guitar in a band called "Dead by April". It is kind of a pop metal orchestra. Before that I have played in various metal bands. My most recent one was "Evildoer". Not so pop metal.
I will always have much love for the underground metalscene.
My roots are based on the aggressiveness of metal but I very much enjoy more melodic stuff as well as well!
I love my guitars and have about 11 good guitars in my collection, as well as some crappy ones (copies, and old junk) mostly laying around and some acoustics, basses and other stuff.
I have also lent my "talent" to different acts and projects over the years. Mostly metal but other stuff as well. Most recently studio recording guitars on 3 songs with "Clairaudience" and live on bass with "Blinded Colony", check those guys out as well!
