About Me

When I was 15 years old I started to play the acoustic guitar from my older brother. After learning a few chords I got interested in The Blues. Probably I knew I was goin' to be bitched by serveral women in the future. Women are the first reason to start playing the blues.First I listened a lot to Brownie McGhee. I really love the way he played and he had a great, warm voice too. One of the greatest moments in my life was the day I met him in person. He was like I imagined him: a warm and kind old man, always ready for a joke. When you're a teenager and you listen to blues music you can't ignore the great masters like John Lee Hooker, Rev. Gary Davis, Big Bill Broonzy, Leadbelly, Lightnin' Hopkins and all the others... All these people were in fact my teachers. I learned to play my guitar by listening to all these great musicians, singers and songwriters. After a while I bought my first Fender Stratocaster. It was in 1979. Another day to remember... Playing the 'electric blues' was a reason to listen more careful to heroes like Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Johnny Cash, Buddy Guy and later, of course, Stevie Ray Vaughan...After all these years I'm still addicted to the blues and it's baby: Rock 'n Roll.I don't have a band right now, but I'm working on some songs and I'll put them here as soon as they're ready. First I have to record them...More later...
