Autumn for free nastaje krajem 2007. Muzika koju bend stvara najÅ¡ire pripada alternative rocku sa primjesama jazza, post rocka, progressivea, math rocka itd, mada ne pati od žanrovske odredjenosti i slobodno kombinuje pojedinaÄne uticaje u nove neobiÄne oblike.Bend je trenutno u zavrÅ¡noj fazi snimanja prvog (selftitled) albuma u svom studiju Deaf Circuit u Tivtu. Na albumu će biti 12 pjesama.Ime benda izvuÄeno je iz konteksta iz stiha Nicka Drakea.
Autumn for free was formed in october 2007 and is currently finishing recording of first selftitled album with 12 songs in band's home - Deaf Circuit studio.
Band's name "autumn for free" is pulled out of Nick Drake's verse from "Things behind the sun".
Music that we create can hardly be fully described by any genre, since it touches many (alternative, postrock, jazz, math rock) while freely combining their elements and flavours constructing new fresh sentences and forms.
