We love music. Sometimes we write songs and play shows. Sometimes we don't. We do the DIY thing because it's cooler that way. We recorded two CDs, a ton of demos, and there are rumors of maybe more. MORE?!? We write about ghosts and robots and other scary things. Look out cuz things are going to change soon.
"K!ck !n the Pants, from Manassas, VA is known for their eclectic mix of high energy
indie-punk, creative synth sounds, and crazy live show. With influences ranging from
Reggie and the Full Effect, Queen, and the noise/experimental scene, one would describe
Kick in the Pants as an indie-synth/punk/psychedellic rock powerhouse of pain.
Adhering strongly to their DIY attitude, this group worked ridiculous sweatshop hours for
weeks screening shirts and making merch for their countless shows. Shows ranging from
the tiniest basements to bigger venues in the heart of DC.
Over the years as their friendships grew like little flowers basking in the sun, they
recorded two full length albums, have been featured on the international Kaijuice
Compilation, and has performed live sets on DCs 106.7 WJFK, WGMUs Locals Only Radio, and
even performed with a couple SuicideGirls on the legendary Bedroom Guerilla Radio Show.
Kick in the Pants has been steadily writing songs over the past couple months and are
preparing to record for their third release (still untitled) due out late spring/early
summer. This album will be a departure from ActionPacked, just as ActionPacked was a
departure from their first album."
