DJ MARTFull name – Sergey Polyakov (the translation into Russian means “the month of spring”–March, it is both cold and sunny month, the face of the spring and happiness coupled with the coolness of going away winter) His Personality was born in the tough conditions of musical censor in USSR. In the absence of an easy access to the European music Sergey managed to create the first collections of various recordings all the same. Italian Disco of the 80’s has become the first move in his career of DJ and musician. Dedicating his youth to the dance music, Sergey step by step in stubborn struggle is going further.Our world of human was exploded often and often by the world of musical hits and this epoch of bright colours and crazy rave of the 90’s has given a lead for Sergey forever. Self-taught DJ learned how to play on non-professional record-player and already in 1996 he became the resident of one of the first night house clubs in the suburbs of Moscow.Later: performances in numerous clubs in Moscow and in Russian cities, organization of parties, creation of self-made club and setting up the dj’s shop in Moscow; Project “Lemon Hit” springing from acquaintance with Dj Grushevski and advanced study of sound production. The first joint track at once wins the fifth line on the top of the best tracks of Moscow radio station Megapolis 89.5 FM where Dj Mart and Dj Grushevski conduct Friday preparty show.The present day DJ Mart is constantly developing musician who continues to surprise and makes the dance-music fans happy under his motto “Just a big step forward”. Both his tracks and sets are the mixture of energy, drive and harmony. Now you know what the Dj’s Mart visiting card is.At this moment he is a part owner of the studio M&G production, the resident of numerical label Mediadrive-records.com, the resident and the presenter of the show “Sound’s fusion” on the radio station Megapolis 89.5 FM, the member of the project “Lemon Hit”. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------Dj Mart & Dj Grushevski “Lemon Hit”Two club djs consolidated their forces in August 2006 in order to create a new digital project “M&G” which later had become known as “Lemon Hit”. “M&G” are the first letters of the artistic names of Sergey Polyakov aka Dj Mart and Evgeny Grushevski aka Dj Grushevski. Their first track “Be real” has got 5th place at the Moscow “Megapolis FM”best ten of a week and became one of the most rotated tracks.In March 2007 the Lemon Hit was caught into a sight of a new digital label Mediadrive records. As a result since July 2007 all Lemon Hit’s tracks have become available for downloading at major web- mp3shops like Tracktracker.com, Trackitdown.net, Beatport.com, Junodownload.com, Musicload.de, Humpty.de, 3Beatdigital.com, etc.Their music material spreads out radically into the djs files and sounds all over the clubs of Russia and Europe. This summer several remixes of A-Studio songs had been made and besides that to the current moment a series of remixes of Polina Grifis’s material is planned to be released. In May 2008 guys are planning to make their album’s debut. Moreover, Dj Mart & Dj Grushevski challenged themselves and obliged to make once a week a new electro thing for the listeners. And still they cope with the task. Their slogan is “Dance music should be dancing”.
