In a scene saturated with cookie-cutter metal acts that value kick-drum speed and unintelligible lyrics over actual song structure and melody, TheGrounded stood among the best rock acts in the Twin Cities. Staying true to roots like The Beatles and Green Day, TheGrounded add loud, distorted guitar to catchy hooks and singable melodies, producing a sound that attracts hard rock, punk, and pop fans alike. After many successful shows, a full-length album with a second well underway, TheGrounded seemed poised to take over the scene, but instead went on hiatus following drummer issues, leaving their loyal fan base wondering what happened...
