KEVLAR started out rapping at the age of 15. Typical story really, dad left the house after going through a rough divorce, the kids were left to themselves. And like any other young man would do, Kevlar started looking for a new family outside the bloodline. The hiphop culture gave him that family. Drugs became a big part of Kevlars life at an early age. Selling and using, resulted in 3 convictions, putting Kevlar behind bars for a year. (Mainly assault-charges). At the age of 24, Kevlar got a beautiful baby-girl named Jessica. Now life started to look different. Kevlar went to rehab, hoping and wishing for another chance in life. He got it. Today he lives by him self (clean), spends time with his daughter almost every day. And with the new projects going on, he is spending time in the studio, like never before. Moving in and out of different genres of hiphop, and not sticking to one particular sound, makes him a versatile artist, with a powerful voice. He is a singer, a rapper, beatmaker, and the producer behind the Street-Material project. His mission is to show the world, that the danish rap-scene, can compete on an international level
