David plays tenor banjo, mandolin, six string and bass guitar. He has played with rock bands in the Isle of Man, guested with Manx traditional music group McTullagh Vannin on bouzouki, was a musician with Perree Bane the Manx traditional dance group and The Arthur Caley Band. He has composed many tunes in the traditional genre. He also led music sessions in Manx towns Peel and Kirk Michael in the Isle of Man
Tony hails from the north east of England. His roots are very much in the folk tradition. He has played with the Redheughers Ceilidh Band, was a founder member of the Jack ORyan Band and played with Borran Borran playing traditional songs and tunes. He says “I hung up my guitar on moving to Spain over two years ago, but the only persuasion I needed to bring it out of mothballs was the quality and passion I heard when I first came across the other members of the Sessionistas playing at an Irish bar in Coin.â€.Rosie has played bodhran for over twenty years and has played this and whistle in Manx and other Celtic music sessions. She danced with Bock Yuan Fannee dance group in Celtic festivals in the Isle of Man Wales, Cornwall, Brittany and Ireland.
