A well known speaker started his seminar holding up a 20$ bill in a room of 200 people. He asked "who would like this 20$ bill?". All hands went up. He said "I am going to give one of you this $20 bill, but first let me to this". He proceeded to crumple the $20 bill.
He then asked, "who still wants it?". Still all the hands were up in the air. Well he replied. "What if i do this?" He dropped it on the ground and grind it up with his shoe. He picked it up now crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?". All the hands still remained in the air.
Now my friend we have all learned a valuable lesson. No matter what i did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth 20 dollars.Many times in our lives, we are dropped,crumpled and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and circumtances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. No matter what has happened and what will happen we will never lose our value.Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, You are still priceless to those who do love you. The worth of our live comes not in what we do or who we know, but by who we are.
