NEW CD RELEASE PARTY AUGUST 21 @ the NEW ORLEANS in SEATTLE, WA
"Music became an obsession at an early age for northwest native Eric Daw. He is a self-taught, "feel" blues player with a maturity in his phrasing and an economical note choice missing in so many younger players. Years of playing and performing has brought him to his current location in Seattle, where he fronts his own band and is in the progress of recording a debut CD. Eric also appears with many of the acts on the current Northwest blues scene including Kim Field and The Mighty Titans of Tone, The Henry Cooper Band, The Hudson Blues Band, and as a featured guest of Too Slim and the Taildraggers."
What others are saying....
"I've certainly seen my share of guitar players, and Eric Daw is one of the most talented and original six-stringers to come down the pike in many years. His strikingly original style takes the legacy trailblazed by the best of the blues guitar stylists that have come before and puts it right in the middle of today through his unique and highly emotional playing. Eric is a fine singer and songwriter, too. It's a sure bet that he will make a major contribution to the blues before he's through--he's already doing it."

-Musiczine.net
"Eric is one of the young guys who have a real feel for the real deal."
-hudsonblues.com
"Eric Daw handling guitar duties truly impresses with sparse fretwork. It's always a pleasure to hear guys make a big sound out of playing very few notes."
