Self taught, Kwali started drawing at a young age focusing on the things she saw around her and began to perfect her realism techniques. At age 11, she was introduced to the essence of hiphop and so began her hand styles (graffiti) and political illustrations. After being commissioned to do her first mural at age 13, she knew art was her passion and could just as well be her career.
Kwali birthed 20 Below Customs in May of 2006 with the vision to incorporate all her artistic ability with the ever increasing custom apparel trend.
