Mz.Mizery represents tha harder side of women, she represents the struggle for RESPECT and trust.................................SOUNDS LIKE SHE GONE GET IT!!Mizery "Tha Reel Queen of Crunk" Mizery Tha Reel Queen of Crunk born Dee Sowell a Columbus, Ohio native has been musically inclined since the tender age of five. I sung in the church youth choir on Sunday mornings. My father is one of my biggest inspirations; He always played the latest hip-hop which triggered my interest in the rap game groups like, NWA, Tupac Shakur, ScarFace, Mc Lyte, and KRS One Dr.Dre. Just to mention a few of my favorites. These errors of hip hop got me seasoned and developed the direction for me as a crunk artist for this present time of music now. I began writing and reciting rhymes a very young age but at the age of eleven this age here is when I truly visualized me rocking the microphone I fell in love with music itself all forms. Music was a way for me to escape from my hard times and also to let go my emotions as a child brought up in a dysfunctional single-parent home. Also I was blessed to have been raised by my grandmother who helped me find the Lord in my life she also was a positive force through my hardships. As an artist you become affiliated with various artists in the city in 1995 I had the privileged of working with some very talented emcees in the infamous Columbus Mob. I had an opportunity to work along side several of the baddest women in the game back then Jemiecia "Mi Mi Ward, and Denise Salisbury together known as D-Fine, Katrina aka Kay Jill of Jack and Jill. Of course back then I was just lil old Mizery age thirteen fresh back from Queens NYC from recording first LP single with an independent record label. This is where I got my experience opening up for artist and performing in bars and different venues around town. This is how I became a performer. I also got my ability to work with other females as well. Owen Ratliff came up with and idea to form a all female clique called Phemales and it displayed every ones different styles I also would like to note that our first song together would have been Love Don't Live Here a hip hop version a song about every diva tired of a man his lies and alibis. We as an ensemble hit it off and had got a chance to be featured in The Click Magazine. This magazine focused on young upcoming artists in the Columbus Metropolitan area the picture was also on a bill board as well. But tragically the group would have come to the end in 1997 when Mi Mi was a victim of domestic violence and lost her life. That was a turning point for me I kind of stopped writing. But I could never lose that desire to create music. In High school I attended Walnut Ridge which was a predominately African American school is where I got a lot of my love for music as well .I enjoyed participating in the gospel choir and I became a member of a group called "Gifted" this group was a R&B group headed by none other than Columbus's own Day Lovell. I had an opportunity to perform at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem NY that was truly inspiring for me as an artist. After my eleventh grade year my life took a drastic spend I had more problems than usual no stability in my home life so I turned to the streets. I began to act out and from this rebelliousness I became pregnant with my first child, these situations really motivated me to grow up and get out of school and pursue my dream. In the year 2000 I hooked up with my partner in rhyme La'Kenya and we formed a duo group called Trybul Tungz. This group was made of two single women who had a story to tell and with that being said we started to write songs and look for production. We stumbled across Shortfuse Records and got aquatinted with Sean Harper a.k.a Suge and that's when I really got to do me and see the potential that I have yet to contribute to the game. I have recorded two in half albums with Shortfuse Records. As far as Trybul Tungz We are still a duo and we're still going hard the albums dropping soon. Currently my status is unsigned and I am representing my own label in the making Krunk&Disorderly Ent.I am currently still doing what it is I love to do make hits. 2008 I started Tha Vaginal Movement with my sister, my friend and mentor Cersire "Da Boss" and it is yet one of the hottest collaborations of all time. This cipher is made up with five intelligent independent females spitting they own lyrics all coming with they're own style. Mizery Tha Reel Queen of Crunk's definition to the game is that women are just as influential and just as powerful as men in the music game. I represent the strength of women of all colors and I plan to make the world see that. I am definitely an artist who plans to put God first and making an impact on every grounds of music. I plan on expanding my horizons and getting better with time and stick to being a " Design Original " and Keep It Gangster For My Hood. If the track isn't crunk then it isn't me! I always tell people if it doesn't get folks attention or have a banging hook then it's not the kind of track I will be on. See the game has lost the basis of music and that is creativity. I plan on setting a new trend for crunk music especially from a female's perspective. I plan on being a tough act to follow.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
