About Me

I was born and raised the early part of my life in South Central, the heart of Los Angeles California. As an only child, it was easy to escape in my own little world by reading all sorts of interesting books. I’ve always loved writing short stories and writing poems so reading and writing has always consumed me and been apart of my life. In my mind, I was either going to become a book author or an architect (the later didn't happen).
Sunny’s Adventures is a positive, upbeat, innocent story of a little girl named Sunny who’s a junior detective that loves solving mysteries. After young readers help her to solve various cases such as finding a missing pie to locating a disappearing class turtle, and much more, they review the different clues at the end of each chapter in a fun comprehension section. There’s a summary page for each story that outlines exactly what led to the cases being cracked wide open!
Children will be able to think their way through each problem and feel pretty smart as they help to solve each case with Sunny who is absolutely a delightful young character.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I’d like to meet all book lovers everywhere who cherish reading all sorts of literature. Sunny's Adventures was written for kids but can be appreciated by adults who understand the importance of reading as we realize books inspire change and growth in our little ones. Reading is fundamental in raising smart, intelligent, articulate, thoughtful kids and I want to meet all people that hold this same passion for children’s literature near and dear to their hearts as I do. Secondly, I would love to meet Oprah Winfrey. Who wouldn’t? She’s phenomenal and the epitome of high achievement and success based on true hard work and perseverance. She built a school in South Africa for girls – really a woman who marches to her own beat and does whatever it takes to make a difference.
