i guess it all started when i was 9 years old. my sister let me listen to an ac/dc cassette called "for those about to rock, we salute you". i immediately picked up her old acoustic guitar and retreated to my bedroom intent on learning how to replicate the sonic magic that bore deep in my ears and left a strange but curious smile on my face. of course, the acoustic gave way to an electric guitar and a small amp, then a bigger amp, then a new, better electric guitar and so on and so on. then i found how much chicks like dudes who play guiatr and sing. next thing ya know i'am in my middle thirties, recording my original songs, looking back on years of playing shows all over country from chicago blues clubs, to knock-down-drag'em-out honky tonks in deep east texas, opening shows for bigger bands, getting to meet some pretty famous folks, playing lead guiatr for some artists that go on to do great things,screaming at the crowd and having them scream back at me,getting burned out by the politics of playing in a band,quitting all together, losing good friends and good players, then finding new friends and new players,and,damn it, i guess i'am crazy, cause i'am still looking forward to the next show!!!! i am currently working on a three piece rock/southern rock band to play around the east tx area. we are called above suspicion, and will begin gigging in mid january 2009. we cover it all from hank jr. to ac/dc. i will post our shows on here so keep checking my page for dates and venues. thanks for checking out my songs and feel free to download any of them. it really is all angus youngs fault, but do i blame him.....or thank him ?!?
